Six 125 uF, 450 VDC electrolytic capacitors removed from Heathkit SB-230. p/n 25-34. Mfr. Nichicon. Also used in a number of other Heathkit products.Very old. 1970\'s date code. Amplifier was sitting, unused in a 64 F dry basement since ~ 1991.I am not sure dielectric \'reforming\' is a good idea on these, given their age. I have done it myself and know that some people have no qualms about the process on even older parts, but it\'s a judgment call on the part of the user.These come with the (p/n 481-3) \'fiber\' capacitor mounting wafers and 100K 2W (p/n 1-24-2). 12 wafer/insulators are there.I measured two of the 100k resistors in parallel with the capacitor and they were 107k and 109 k.If you can see any bulging of the plastic over-sleeving in the photos, a couple have some. My gut feeling is that it\'s more likely the effect of amplifier heat on the sleeving than leakage. The couple that have bulged will depress and pop back up (oil can effect?) suggesting the plastic has air space under it, not electrolyte. The terminal ends do not show signs of leakage.I am selling these \'as-is\', with a low starting offer for someone who needs the mounting wafer insulators or is willing to try dielectric reforming (with prior knowledge, experience, or help from someone else) prior to committing to modify a Heathkit model with an after-market filter capacitor board that has different terminals and mechanical features. I also selected \'No Returns\', referring to \'I changed my mind\' type returns. I will, however, guarantee it is functional. The leads are the length they were as installed, minus the clipping of the soldered ends.You retain all and other rights to return an item if it is not as represented.
