Thank you for taking the time to view our sale on this nicely restored HMMWV Slant Back. If you have been looking for a Slant back you will already know just how hard they are to find and then trying to find one in good shape is almost impossible. We started with a beautiful southern truck and then completely blocked and smoothed it down then repainted using CORRECT MILITARY CARC PAINT. The truck was also fitted with a M1114 ac condenser re-locator placing the unit under the passenger quarter panel and avoiding the ugly hatch mounted system. This system was designed for the full armored trucks and gives the truck a really nice clean look. Inside the seats were replaced with high backs and all decals were replaced. Under the hood the newer 6.5L engine has replaced the original and problematic 6.0L Diesel engine. The underside of the truck was blasted down and recoated in black. Being that these trucks are aluminum there is never a huge issue with rust but this truck has none and the body is extremely abuse free unlike just about every other I have seen.

If you are looking for a truck to drive around or simply add to your collection I can tell you this truck is by far one of the nicest around. Dont get fooled by other trucks for sale that need work....... Parts for these truck have gone through the roof and they just keep going up. I can guarantee you that you cannot build a truck for anywhere close to my asking price and I guarantee you that we started with a much, much nicer truck as well.
