Super Cool Black Vintage 1962 Gibson J-160E that has a brilliant and very old professional nitro refinish in black and clean as a whistle. My instinct tells me that the party that refinished it was going for a Lennon thing given the history of these things. This is a really nice example and she looks and plays great in her non-original hardshell case.

There are replacement Gold Kluson tuners fitted to the guitar but the originals are included. Appears that the pickguard is a non Gibson original and probably fabricated when the original was pulled for the paint job. The built in P-90 sounds great plugged in and the coils and magnets old dusty and original. The black cover, however, appears to be a modern period replacement and the screws are gold P-90 replacements not original to the instrument. Overall, this guitar is inexcellent condition and plays great and looks even cooler.

This is a really unique example of an iconic Kalamazoo guitar that fell into the hands of four British lads and changed the world! The 1962 and 1963 J-160E are the ones most sought after!
