I havea LonghornBlackPowderHorn up for sale.The powder horn originated out of the necessity to carry gun powder for loading and firing muzzle loading rifles, as far back as the 1600\'s.This powder horn washandmade to recreate the authentic and practical characteristics of the true black powder horn of years past. This powderhorn measures approx.15 1/2\" long & 8 1/2\" around at the large end. It has a solid permanent wood plug in the end of the horn & a removable wood plug in the small end. This horn is polished to a glossy finish.It has a leather string as a shoulder strap. All horns will have natural imperfections so please look closely at pictures. This Powder Hornhas very nice black & white coloring which is all natural.You will be getting the SAME HORN as shown in pictures. Great for those pre-19th century reenactors, for western décor or for a BB flask.
