Vietnam Era M818 5 ton truck. Restored back to its original paint color. This came out of gov liquidations 10 + years ago. It was repainted shortly after. Many upgrades have been added to this truck (not by me). I bought it from the previous owner who did most of the work to it. He spent over $20,000 on it. It has a clear title and is currently registered in Tennessee as an antique. Truck runs great. Always starts (unless cold, then use block heater and it will). Rides smooth and straight. Switches gears fines. No unusual noises. Here are the upgrades: Gooseneck hitch, lightcord adapter to 10 pin (I used 12v/24v led bulbs on my gooseneck), Air brakes to rear axle, cab heater, block heater, 12v 3 way power point (truck is still 24v), Eaton Fuller 13 speed transmission with overdrive (this was a new unit added. Front drive shaft can still be engaged with switch on dash. Very pricey.). This is what work has been done to the vehicle in the last10 years: Rebuilt engine professionally done. Radiator cleaned. Rebuilt front axle, fuel system cleaned with new hoses, all new fluids, new batteries, excellent tires (except one that has less tread), new paint (looking not so new due to being outside. It lives inside now but spent a few years out). Here are the extras: Military Radio mount, Robo-impact tool, break down triangle kit, chock blocks, extra filters, etc. This truck will do 70MPH at 2100 rpm.
