$32000.00

1986 U1300L Mercedes Unimog RW1... I imported this vehicle with the help of a friend who has all of the Import experience, bonding, etc. It\'s already been through customs and resides and is registered in Oregon. I planned to keep in long term but decided to get a 4 door for more seating so have a 1017 on the way. This Unimog is in exceptional condition, only 32,000 kilometers, 21,000 miles! If you are notfamiliar with the RW1, google it....you will find some awesome enthusiast sites, pictures and videos. These are German fire house rescue vehicles...they live indoors and are serviced continually. This unit has the somewhat rare rear mast light that cranks up to about 12\' ABOVE the top of the vehicle! The light and the sirens have been disconnected but would beeasy to wire back up. 20,000lb Werner winch.24 volt.Wackenhut brand rear body, with drop sides and drop rear. Dual parking brakes for recovering (front and rear). Stand alone diesel fired cab heater under passenger seat plus normal cab heater. Air drivers seat for long haul travel comfort. Giant chock blocks for winching. ContinentalMPT80 tires at 90%, great condition. 8 speed forward and reverse (start in 5th, 1-4 are low range). Pop up vented roof, interior in great shape. Seat has a cigarette burn and yes, a few German cigarette butts are still in the vehicle though I don\'t smell smoke when driving it. Strong & reliable OM 352 engine = 6 cyl Diesel = 5.675 Ltr = 130 hp. Starts first time as quickly as my daily driver G55, minimal smoke when cold, runs well in town and up to it\'s top speed of 52-55mph.

Legendary4x4 that is easy and comfortable to drive on road (it really issuprisinglysmooth on the road), yet very capable off-road with high clearance and portal axels as withall Unimogs. If you are looking to build an incredible expedition vehicle, this would be a great start....no rust except onespot pictured on the rear body by the light mast. You will be hard pressed to find a lower mile, better condition, better priced (or find one at all) RW1.
