VIN: 404.115-042536This sale is for the Unimog AND all items shown in the \'parts\' picture (5 x M180 engine, 3 x front bumper, dashboard plating, 2 x Jerry cans, cabrio windshield, 2 x air tanks, springs, steering wheels complete with steering box, engine covers, tail pipe, bell housing, axle struts, and more).I bought this Mog in The Netherlands and shipped it over to Houston a few years ago. It has been imported as a farm/off-road vehicle so there is NO US title. It does come with Dutch title/ownership papers, which could be used to get it titled.My plan was to restore it so I could enjoy it properly. But I have too many projects and haven\'t been able to work on it properly for a while, so I am looking for a new home for this beauty.Engine runs well, with no leaks. Also, no leaks anywhere else (differentials, transmission, cooling system, fuel system).What it has:
- Mercedes-Benz Diesel engine conversion (engine# OM617.910.10.014053) from a sedan (most likely a 300D) - starts and runs great

- Belgian troop bed with fold down sides
- New wood in bed

- NOS (New Old Stock) Canvas tarp
- Pix don\'t show it but the engine cowl (engine hood inside the cab) is included
- 11x20\" custom wheels (meaning they are standard Unimog 404 9x20\" wheels that have been widened by 2\") with 12.5x20 Michelin XLs. Good thread left, see pix. Full spare (11x20\") with same tire included
- Air compressor, air tank and trailer brake connections
- I rebuilt the brakes on all four wheels in Feb 2013 and they work fine. However, the air assist brake system needs rebuilding. The system is complete but needs maintenance. I disconnected it from the main brake system to have working brakes on all wheels.
- Compressor works and it charges the air tank fine. But I took the belt off as i don\'t need the air system. The compressor belt is included so it can be hooked up again in a minute.Items that would need work:
- Rusted areas below the doors and on the front clip. Bumper rust is surface only and i can include an extra front bumper if needed.
- Engine bay wiring could be cleaned up a bit. Front driving lights and dash lights work. The rest (rear,brake, indicator) are not working (i suspect needs hooking up as wiring is all in place).
- Air system for trailer brakes needs rebuild/cleanup.All in all a pretty cool Mog with great potential. It can be put to work right away but it would be nice to fix the few areas that need work before throwing it at some heavy work :)Location:
