You are viewing a 1994 S&S M1083 lmtv military 5ton cargo truck with winch. All mechanical Cat 3116 290hp engine starts right up even in the cold and runs great. It has 4 good mil batts. Trans shifts properly. Its an Allison 7 speed automatic with wtec2 control. This truck is all wheel drive, with a 30/70 front/rear power split. Keypad selectable mode provides 50/50 with locking center diff. Trans starts in 2nd gear with 6 forward gears, 1st is low range, selected via keypad. I pulled 31k of concrete on a sled on dirt no problem with my 230hp 4x4 and I could have pulled more. The 6x6 with 290hp should pull way more than that. It will do 57mph on the highway in 7th. Fully street legal with functional hi/lo headlights, brake lights, reverse lights, horn, wipers and blinkers. Center mounted 15k winch (under-rated) with fairlead rollers front and back so you can run the line front or back and pull either way. No line on the winch but the winch and cab controls function. The pto is engaged via dash switch as are the winch functions. The tach does not work I have not had time to look into it. I have an extra tach pickup if thats the issue. Cab roof has some rust and it will need attention, some water got in around the hatch seal. I sealed over it so no more gets in but it will need some attention. Volt gage reads a little low but alternator and charging voltages are correct via multimeter both 12 and 24 volt systems. I can swap the spare with a matching one just havent got to it yet, passenger wheel well piece is cracked but I have another for it. CTIS appears to work properly. No pintle hitch on it, looks like it had a pintle extension kit on it and it was removed before the truck was sent to drmo. The truck has some dents and dings IT IS NOT A SHOW TRUCK!! PLEASE SEE PICS!!! It could use some tlc here and there. I have some parts trucks I can give you some little things here and there if needed. If I put more time into the truck then I will have to raise the price accordingly. PLEASE READ: Truck has a FL title, the last pic shows the title.
