Beautiful miniature French carriage clock with stunning masked dial.

This timepiece which is from my own collection has just been serviced to prepare it for sale. The original restoration which was carried out about 4 years ago included a complete strip down of the movement for cleaning including removal of mainspring from barrel. The individual parts were then cleaned before replacement with new grease and oil.

The clock has an original cylinder escapement fitted which was also dismantled for cleaning and oiled with the required fine grade watch oil.

The solid brass case was originally dismantled, given a light clean and polish and subsequently waxed to retard future tarnishing. The case which has not been polished since is in excellent condition as demonstrated in the listed photos.

The beveled glass is in excellent condition.

As can be seen in the listed photos the original enamel on copper dial is in excellent condition.

The case measures 150 mm tall with handle in upright position, 79 mm wide and 64 mm deep.

The photos give an accurate reflection of condition and represent an integral part of the description. Magnification feature has been used to assist viewing.

Postage is estimated on basis of Royal Mail special delivery service within UK and postage overseas will be considerably higher as insured tracked and signed for service is used.

Clock will be provided with the appropriate double ended key to wind the clock and adjust the hands.

A good opportunity to acquire a beautiful and rare little timepiece in excellent condition.
