I purchased these new from Tops Appliance City in 1991 after hearing the quality of the Rx905. It was necessary to special order both since the lower model RX905 & XL-Z441 were all they carried.

In 1991 they were considered JVC\'s Top of the line Components. Called the \"Aristocrats of Hi-Fi\"
I paid $1195 for the 1050v Receiver and $629 for the Z1050 Cd Player.

From 1991 to 2001 they wereenclosed inside a glass entertainment center and never removed. They were used infrequently for CD, VHS and DVD Playback.

In 2001 both components and remotes were removed from the entertainment center and gently packed in boxes where they remained until today.

With the exception of some dust, and a few faded letterson the CDauto searchbutton, both componentsare in absolute Mint \"Near New Condition\" Not a scratch on either unit. This is as close to new as your going to get for components that are 24 years old.

On both components, The front panels, The displays, and bothcasings are in beautifulmint condition.I would still ratethe aesthetic and functional condition of both components 9.8 out of 10. Especially taking into considering their age.

Both components when connected optically, sound absolutely beautiful! Clean uncolored sonic quality. They sound just as goodnow, as the day I purchased them. Super low THD even at high volumes. Thanks to a variant Class A amp design. It does run warm, so it must be kept well ventilated. The digital acoustics processor is exceptionallypleasing.
You can replicate a large variety of musical Environments, from stadiums to small clubs. The Room Size, Liveness and walltype can also be changed to fine tune the experience.

I purchased the Service manuals and the original JVC K2 Optical cable, now called Toslink.

Since the specifications were to numerous to list I\'ve taken a picture for your review.

Finally, both components arein original un-tampered condition. Never disassembled or tampered with in any way. No butchering or basement modifications.
