This is a very nice M1832 Artillery Short Sword. Made by Ames and dated 1855. There is some dark spots on the blade, but not bad, and a few small dings on the cutting edge, again, not bad. The scabbard is fully intact, all the stitching is good. Just the usual wear and tear on the leather that you would expect from something this old.
