Offering for sale this guaranteed original, fully restoredand 100% functioning Baker Boy coin op gum machine made by the Manikin Vendor Co. ofPortland Oregon. Circa 1929.

The machine features a penny-operated clockwork mechanismthat drives a miniature baker boy automaton figure. Upon insertion of a penny and the winding ofthe crank, the animated figure turns, opens the oven door, and scoops out agumball which is then deposited to the tube and dispensed to the patron.

While serial numbers and production records indicate thatthese machines were produced in fairly large number, the fact that they weremade during the depression, and the fact that they had a spring-wound clockworkthat added complexity and many extra moving parts to the vending

Noexpense was spared in restoring this magnificent specimen. It is in excellentworking condition and it displays as new.
