\"A good drummer listens as much as he plays.\" ~Native American Saying
Rare signed handmade Robert Eaglehawk Apache Shaman Native American Indigenous Drum with a FREE DRUM STICK (also called drum mallet or drum beater). This rare signed drum is lightly used and appears to have a smiley face, drawn lightly in purple crayon, on the top and another child\'s marking on the inside of the drum skin. The natural animal skin and wood, of this beautiful handcrafted drum, are of unknown origin, possible deer skin and a light wood such as pine.Robert Eaglehawk (of Blessed memory, he passed into the Spirit world in 2014) is said to have spoken these words to an Apache young man prior to his wedding:We Indians say, “Thank you for every little thing,” and have a ceremony for it. That’s why we have a corn dance just for corn, a deer dance just for deer, a puberty rite ceremony for our young women (who keep the culture going), etc. This drum is perfect for use in drum circles, sound healing, ceremony, spiritual or sacred rituals, and personal use. In every culture, on every continent around the world, the drum is or has been used for sacred ceremony. Shamans of every tribe use the drum in ceremony, for healing, and for journey work, or journeying.Happy drumming!
