Pictured is an original WWII US Army 1/4 Ton Jeep trailer. This particular trailer was built in 1943 and is serial number 25347. Trailer was totally disassembled, cleaned, sand blasted and restored back to it\'s original condition. Axle has all new wheel bearings and races and all brake shoes are new replacements. Has the correct combat rims with the inner bead locks, tires show slight use, but are solid and have years of life left, Has the original lunette, casting, leg and chains, the swivel is a new reproduction from Midwest Military. The front panel and the floor are new reproduction panels that were painstakingly installed with over 300 welds. Data plate is a new reproduction from dataplates4u.com. The wiring harness has been installed, but I have not hooked it up to the stop light switch due to there being two different wiring patterns for these and it would be easier to match it to the wiring on your Jeep. All parts are present, including an original WWII plug and cable. The body and every other part was sand blasted, painted red oxide primer and coated with two coats ofty WWII 33070 olive drab. There are a few rough spots in the paint, but overall the trailer looks great. If you would like to view the trailer it can be seen in citrus Heights, California, about 20 miles North of Sacramento.
