Extremely rare, hardly, if ever seen, original, vintage, circa 1910-1920 Pre-Prohibition paper label measures 1 5/8\", with the inscription \"LICENSING THE SALOON PUTS THE MORALS OF THE PEOPLE ON THE BARGAIN COUNTER\" I recently purchased a collection of these from one of America\'s premier Americana sale companies, and in their 47 years of business, this was the first time they have seen these labels.I will be listing more of these.
This label has a nick/paper loss on the \"O\" of \"MORALS\", and at some point some the edge was trimmed, as seen in the photo. Condition stated, this is truly a rare Pre-Prohibition item! 3.00 shipping in the USA.
