From thecollection of Mina Lang Brooks of Payson, AZ, a fourth-generation Arizonan andEast Valley (Mesa, AZ) pioneer. She was born on the Dana Ranch in Mesa andlived most of her life in Queen Creek and Chandler. She and her husband,Robert, were proud Queen Creek farmers for 30 years. After farming, they livedhappily in Chandler until they made their move to retire in Payson in 1998. Herpassions were family get-togethers, Indian artifacts, Diet Pepsi, card games,John Wayne movies, and the collecting of any and all items that took her eye.Because of her generosity, many pieces from her extensive artifact collectionare now shown at the Heard, Mesa, Chandler Pioneer and Queen Creek Museums.
