You get the exact rare Art Deco stunning radiant gas heater you see in the pictures. This one is made by The Adams Gas Stove Company.Thisis a great item, just very nice and clean. We could not really find anything on this heater at all so we will do our best to describe. It was pulled from a working Environment but like anything old we suggest having it checked by a professional before use. This isa just such a stunning piece it is hard to put into words, like most art deco items there is so much thought and artistry put into every aspect of these!! Every line is so thought out and deliberate, this piece is truly a piece of art!! This is an Adams gas heater model 51-A and it rated at 21000 BTU per hour according to the metal tag on the side as you can see in the pictures. The textured insert that holds the ceramic tilesis in great condition with very minimal wear, please see all pictures and consider them a part of the description. It has almost a frosting type texture to it. My wife says it reminds her of an old theatre stage when you look at it from the front. It uses 6 ceramic tiles to hold the heat, this one has kind of a heart pattern on the tiles. There are 3 good ones and 3 of them that have damage on the bottoms. The good news is you can still buy these on the internet and you can actually get different patterns. It appears that the front leg section is cast iron maybe and the back leg section is pressed steel I am thinking, not sure. There is some very light cosmetic wear on the body of the stove as you can see in the pictures but nothing bad in my opinion, some light surface rust hear and there, but again, nothing bad in my opinion and most all of it is out of sight and on the bottom which is normal.The stove appears to have all original parts. The brass gas on off valve turns smoothly and has a great patina. It appearsthat it shouldwork but should be looked at by an expert before use and it is untested. This would look great in any home!!!
