Shellhas been hand carved / hammered to depict gorgeous elegant ART DECO stylefloral motifs throughout! This piece washandcrafted by a solider during the war to pass time in between battles! Helmet is embossed HS397 under the rim. Piece shows amazing craftsmanship, qualityand detail throughout! Extremely wellmade weighing 8 LBS 10 OZ and measuring 24 Inches X 12 ¼ Inches X 11 ¾ Inches. Piece is in overall very good originalcondition with no breaks or cracks. Ibelieve this was once a lamp due to the old wiring still intact, however thepiece is missing bulb fixtures so it no longer works (however you can have itrewired to work again!).
