Back in the 1950s...you could find this type of clock in the pubs, restaurants, grocery stores and drug stores. They were a wonderful way for the iconic Coca Cola brand name to advertise and sell more product. Those days are long ago...but this is a great time capsule of a great vintage Americana advertising piece of that era. This clock is known as the \"Coca Cola Fishtail\" glass panels version. If you are looking for a mint $1,500 example of this clock to stick on a display shelf..you may want to skip this sale. However, if you are looking at a neat well loved and used example that is in good working/running order that you can still display and use..this is a good one for you. It really looks fantastic all lighted up! I have taken lots of photos to show the overall condition and you can see it works/lights up fine. Clock works and not tested for timing accuracy..it is 65 years old. The original cord plug has a little electrical tape on it and could be updated to a newer one if desired. Some mild surface rust...no holes or damage. It is pretty heavy and can either be hung on a wall or set on a counter. These are getting tough to locate and don\'t show up alot on ..the last one I saw in similair condition sold for around $300.
