This Vintage Seth Thomas mantel Clock is mounted in a mahogany frame with oak inlays. It has a swiveling feature and was converted to a quartz movement. It was originally sold through the Brooklyn, NY shop of Wm. Wise and son. It was originally an eight day clock with 4 jewels before conversion. There is a scratch on the face and some crazing on the finish. There is what seems to be slightly visible crack or seamat the bottom facing portion of the trim around the face. The original label is still on the bottom of the stand.. The unit is 8 1/2\" tall and 9 1/4\" wide at the base. It looks as if this could be returned to it\'s original condition. If the buyer can look past the movement one will have a clock that is classic in its designand it\'sunderstated elegancethat will enrich any room.Additionally, it wont have toto be wound.
