Shure 450 Controlled Magnetic Microphone.
The Shure 450 is famous for high audio output with frequency response characteristics tailored for high voice intelligibility. This model has a dual impedance circuit with a high / low switch for convenient use with almost any radio. The push-to-talk bar can be easily locked in either position for ease of operation. Microphone height is easily adjustable.I used this for Ham Radio operation on SSB, AM, and FM. It is presently wired for use with a Drake T4-XB transceiver and has the hard to find right-angle Drake plug. I have used it with numerous other radios over the years including and Icom 735, Elecraft K2, SGC 2020, and numerous Kenwood, Alinco, and MFJ radio transceivers.This is one of the good old ones made right here in the USA - not a newer reproduction made in Japan or China.
