This is an unusual car. I was told it was from an amusement park game. The car is fairly detailed and looks a lot like the 1947-48 Talbot race car. the car measures 12 inches in length and weighs just a couple ounces shy of 10 pounds. The body of the car is cast brass, the wheel / tires are cast aluminum and marked Talbot 5.75 X 16, the seat, steering wheel, and base are cast aluminum. The wheels turn freely and the front axle turns side to side. I believe the car to have been repainted, the left rear inner portion of the wheel appears to have been broken on the inside and repaired.
