Presented in gift set format, Prime’s Complete VersionTrailer, made of both plastic and die-cast, outwardly resembles his originaltrailer, complete with broad stripe and Autobot insignia. The trailer featuresextendable anchor platforms as well as a rear-plate entry ramp. The traileropens vertically to reveal a mechanically-organized repair bay large enough toadmit robot mode Prime in alternately horizontal or vertical position andscaled to accommodate smaller vehicle mode Autobots. The trailer interiorprovides weapon racks for Prime’s primary gun and additional accessories, aswell as a swivel-mounted telescoping double-gun station, the latter of which iscapable of external operation even with the trailer closed.

In homage to Optimus Prime,the greatest of all Autobots, the 12” Masterpiece Prime is a mixture of plasticand die-cast. This is a Gen 1-style version of Prime more in line with hisanimated counterpart. In flat-nosed truck mode, he sports rubber wheels andworking suspension. The robot mode is intricately constructed withaesthetically-camouFlaged articulation, right down to the finger joints andeven the minuscule range of movement allotted to the faceplate. The leader ofthe heroic Autobots, Convoy (or better known as Optimus Prime outside ofJapan), returns again as the fourth installment in the popular TransformersMasterpiece series, and this time, he comes with an actual trailer!

This \"FullComplete\" set comes with the same 12-inch-tall, intricately detailed andshow-accurate Optimus Prime as previously released as the first entry in theTransformers Masterpiece series, a fully functional 34cm-long trailer, the AutobotMatrix of Leadership, laser rifle, energy axe, and a P-38 pistol version ofMegatron complete with scope and silencer. Note that Roller is not included inthis set.

Masterpiece Convoy is madeout of ABS plastic and diecast metal parts and features complex transformation(particularly the torso area), a working suspension, rubber wheels, flip-upwrist communicators and an opening chest to house the Autobot Matrix ofLeadership with light-up effect. Even his mouth piece is moveable to simulateOptimus Prime talking! This highly poseable Masterpiece Convoy is fullytransformable from robot mode to truck mode that greatly resembles a 1980sstyle cab-over-engine semi-trailer truck. The trailer can be set in multiplemodes including base mode, container cannon mode, outrigger mode, headquartermode, and repair dock mode.

Profile: Optimus Prime trulyis an embodiment of the Autobot cause. He is a just, bold and caring leader whotime and time again sacrifices his own desires to protect the rights ofsentient beings everywhere. After defeating Megatron and his Predacons onEarth, Optimus Prime and his brother were pulled from their own reality into anew war, one with the evil planet-eating Unicron. Prime knows he is doingthe right thing, that the power of the Matrix and Omega Prime are too great torefuse a plea from a righteous spark, but he longs for the day when he canreturn to Earth, his Earth, and have a little fun with his pal Koji. To him,nothing beats driving through the city as a robot in disguise.Abilities: Optimus Prime has three primary modes. In fire truck mode, hehas the ability to travel at close to 100 MPH for a range of 200 miles. He isequipped with a power-stream cannon which can be used as a high-impact waterweapon or for putting out fires at great distances using the power-streamtargeting mechanism. In this mode, he also hides a set of 4 heat-seekingmissiles that can be triggered, aimed and released in .2 nanoclicks. His secondform is his general robot mode where he yields a compression pistol capable ofemitting rapid fire Energon bursts. He can also unleash the \"BlazeBlaster\" from his back-mounted Energon lasers in this form. While in thismode, his trailer can transform into a recharging station - gathering solarenergy and converting it into Energon. It can enact his \"flying-fist\"attack in which his super mode\'s hand armor is launched at an enemy. He canalso combine with part of the trailer to launch the \"Strafe Attack\"in which concussion missiles are rapidly launched from shoulder mountedcasings. In his third mode he combines with his trailer to\"optimize\", where his extra armor provides unmatched power anddefense. Optimus Prime can mount his power-stream cannon on his shoulder inthis mode and trigger his missiles as well. Can combine with Ultra Magnus toform Omega Prime.Weaknesses: Optimus Prime has no known physical weaknesses. Hiscompassion and strong will to protect life is often exploited by his enemies.
