Up for sale is this fantastic antique Chelsea automotive clock retailed by Jos. W. Jones of New York. It is housed in a very well made antique wood case that has a small battery powered lightbulb (not modern batteries) above the dial. I was going to remove the case and just sell the clock it I e come to like it much better in the case. There are many possible reasons for the design, could have been used in a small ship or captains quarters, could be someone\'s night light, I don\'t know. Case measures about 7 1/2\" x 5 7/8\". Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition. The movement is running as I type this, but should be cleaned and serviced. I\'ve only had it running for about the past 6 hours or so. It took several attempts to get it started before it took off and ran uninterrupted. Bezel about 3 1/4\" diameter. There is a 3 digit serial number on the rear outer case, but movement is in the 20,000s, circa 1905 - 1909.
