VINTAGE GAMEWELL FIRE ALARM PULL BOX WITH INTERNAL PARTS:

This is a nice, vintage Gamewell Fire Alarm Box. I don't know much about these items, but it appears that the parts are intact - as is the glass. It needs some tlc and was obtained when one of our local fire houses was being stripped to move to a new location. Thefront door needs pins in the hinges andlooks as though it was rescued from a fire with the scorching on the front (which I think adds to the charm). There is an obvious break / hole in the top of the peak shown in the photo. I didn't realize it would work without being connected to power, but when I moved the alarm hook down, the mechanism gets triggered and it rotatesand makes noise. I understand itneeds to be connected to power for the bell to actually ring (which I have not done).
