VintageSinger Sewing Machine, Model 66 \"Red Eye\". Serial Number G4639347. Manufactured at the Elizabethport Plant, Elizabeth, New Jersey on May 3, 1916. Soon to be 100 years old. Comes with everything you see in the photos. Of course, the plastic carrying case is not of this era andthe electric motor is notSinger brand. It\'s missingthe drive belt. The light works, is old and looks like it could\'ve come with the machinebut I believe it\'saftermarket. Themotorworks but the wiring insulation is starting to crack, as wiring this old usually does,in two or three places near the plug end.All the rest of the wires are soft and flexible. The foot pedalworks as it should in varying the speed of the motor. The accessories shown in the one photo was missingan accessory that I included ina second photo. I would be pretty sure that with areplacement belt this machine would be operable. It wasbuilt to last...more than a lifetime.

A very eyepleasing machine. Overallit\'sin very nice condition with no rust. Some wear on the fancy design on the base nearthe front. Some paint chipping on the front edge and about sixspots of paint missing on the base that look a lot worse in the photos than they really are.Probably fromputtingthe foot pedal under the headfor storage which is now bubble wrapped. There are scratches here and there from ordinary use and very fine paint cracks in the base, which can be seen in the photos, that I think would be in most finishes of this age. I did not clean the machine other thanto dust it with a dry cloth. It\'s the original beautiful finish. We\'re thinking that this was my wife\'s grandmother\'s machine. She would\'ve used it to make and mend clothes for her 10 kids.

Because of the weight of the machine I didn\'t want to try to package this for shipping.I wouldn\'t mind traveling a few milesto possibly meet somewhere outside of Pittsburgh if distance was a problemfor an interested buyer.
