Vintage 1970\'s Gibson T-top Humbucker Pickup Pat. Number old original part 7.62K:
$88.00

A 1970\'s Gibson T-top humbucker pickup. Patent number 2,737,842 stamped into the metal baseplate. The coils are original. One of the coils had a bad connection where the coil wire attaches to the lead wire. This was fixed, and new, correct black masking tape was applied to the coils since the old tape was loose and dry-rotted. Ready for another thirty five years of toneful service. Reads 7.62 K Ohms. 10.5 inches of correct replacement lead wire. Sand cast alnico magnet.
Chrome pole piece screws. Two of them were shortened, but won\'t be noticeable when installed.
Mounting ears were broken off. I bent the remaining part and made new holes so that the pickup is \"shallower\" than before, but works just as well. I am adding some new, correct mounting screws that work perfectly.
No cover; but there is evidence from solder on the baseplate from where one originally was. A great pickup for your guitar project - Les Paul, SG, ES-175 or other. Buyer pays $5.00 shipping. International shipping will be about $15. -Fred.
