We do our best to package things securely. In the event a package is damaged in transit, please contact us to report the damage so we may begin a carrier claim process. You as the buyer are NOT responsible for the damage but we do want make sure that carriers are held responsible when they damage merchandise. PA buyers and pickups will pay 6% sales tax.

International buyers - We know that shipping is too high and we can\'t control this nor can we control how long shipments take. Please keep this in mind when rating us on shipping costs and times. USPS quoted dates are not always accurate. First Class International can be very slow often taking up to a month. In many case of international shipping delays, the merchandise is sitting in customs waiting to be claimed.

Local Item Pickup / Delivery:

Items may be picked up in our downtown Washington, PA store (Buy & Sell outlet) which is about 30 miles South of Pittsburgh. Please contact us for store hours. No handling fee will be charged. Please pick up your item within a reasonable amount of time.

International Buyers:

Please be aware that international buyers may be charged a VAT tax or importation fee. Please understand this has nothing to do with us nor do we know when or where it is charged or how much is charged. Also note that we make our merchandise available worldwide due to the popular demand to do so. Just because this merchandise is being made available to you does not mean that it will work in your country or that it is approved for use by any and all local or national laws. As the buyer please do your due diligence before ordering to assure that you will be able to receive this merchandise and that it will work in your country. This is not our responsibility.

Payment and Communication:

After the sale, we will send a PayPal invoice. Please make sure your address is complete (including apartment number if applicable) to avoid a UPS address correction fee. If you don’t hear from us by the day after the sale ends please check your spam/trash folder for our email as it is likely being filtered out.

Please contact us within 3 days of the sale ending to let us know when payment will be made. We don’t mind waiting for payment if you need some time but please let us know this. You will be notified when we ship and will receive a tracking number directly from the shipper.

About sale Description:

All pictures on our sales are that of the actual product except for some obvious stock photos occasionally used. If it\'s not in the picture, it is not included unless specifically stated in the description that it is missing from the picture. We sometime use manufacturer descriptions and specifications in our sales to help potential buyers know what they are buying. Occasionally we forget to edit the description when something is missing or different. Please use the picture as the main reference for what is included.

ANSWERS TO THREE COMMON QUESTIONS:

1. Is it refurbished? Washington Swap Shop almost never sells reconditioned/refurbished items. If the item is reconditioned or refurbished then the sale description will clearly state this.

2. Does it work? The item is operational unless stated otherwise.

3. Is it still under the manufacturer warranty? If an item is listed as new, it may or may not be under manufacturer warranty. If it is a manufacturer that honors warranties without a retail receipt, then it may be in warranty. We do not have a list of those that do. If we do not specifically state in the description that we have the receipt, then we do not have one.

We can combine shipping on most smaller items when possible.
