For many years I collected religious chalkware, but the time has come to let a few of my favorite pieces go. I moved to Los Angeles from the East Coast several years ago, so much of my collection was found in the Northeast.This piece is likely 1940's-1950's, and measures approximately 13" x 7" x 4". No stamp or inscription. Beautiful hand-painting, especially the airbrushing effects on back.(The paint is really quite good on this particular one, compared to others I've seen). It feels rather hollow, not entirely solid like most chalkware.There does not appear to be any breaks/repairs, and barely any paint chipping as the pictures would indicate.I've had this piece for around 10 years, it definitely makes for an interesting accent piece in any home with mid-century decor.I am not sure exactly what shipping would be for this item, but I will reimburse any shipping overpayments within a dollar or two of actual cost.
