How cool looking is he??? I think so anyway! Surely a one of a kind.

Looks like a project started and well, he has no body. That is where you come in.

He would make an awesome jester or joker. The face is comical, that giant hook nose and teeth that look like a picket fence just makes me smile.

He has pretty blown glass eyes which are a lovely brown to match his crooked eyebrows.

A tiny dimple can be seen on his pointed chin.

He has the look for sure!

I could tell that this head was done by someone who had talent and after some investigation I found the artist Dane Burr (American, 20th Century School), Studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and is a studio potter in North Carolina..

Bisque head is signed by the artist and Dated 31 yrs from 1982.

It is a nice crisp quality mold, sharp details, perfect open mouth with 8 molded teeth.

He has a temporary pate made of styrofoam that is glued into place and I will leave that.

Little jester hat does not do him justice, he will look much better with a nice mohair wig or a better designed hat.

The neck opening is approx 3/4" wide, top pate opening is 1 5/8" wide and he is approx 2 1/4" wide from ear to ear and 2 1/4" tall. No chips, cracks or damage. I would guess that he would make a 12" doll.
