This item is among a number of old artifacts that were discovered among Grandfather\'s estate. He lived in Juneau Alaska in the 1930\'s and some of the baskets he brought home were in a box marked \"Alaska/Inuit\".
I can only assume this carving is Inuit made as a photo I found online resembles much of the same details displayed on the carving (See last photo posted for reference only).
The carved artifact is very well made and measures 5 inches in length.
