Vintage CASE 1905 - 1920 Congress w/Bone Handles, Pattern# 62052:
$85.00

Hi I\'m Lance Fitzgibbons and I am offering some select Case knives from my collection for sale. Many of my knives have come to me from the Parker collection and are absolutely first rate and in Mint Condition. I only deal in top of the line Case collectable knives. All are mint, or as close to mint as possible taking in consideration for age. I will be very clear and up front with you as humanly possible in describing all the knives going to sale. Thanks.

This is a very oldslant bolster Vintage Case Congress, pattern # 62052

This knife originally came to me with only one brown scale, in bad condition, and one scale missing. I sent it to Case in 2011 to have new scales put on.

This knife is difficult to date, but it looks like itis a1905 - 1920. The masterlambs foot blade tang is stampedW.R. CASE, & SONS, BRADFORD, PA. The W.R. stamping is indicative of blades manufactured between 1905 to 1915. Non of the books on Case knives that I have, go back before 1920. The blade pattern stamp of 62052 was used in 1920 and beyond. This is an early Case knife that has survived.

Thenewscales are gorgeous, but they are new.The knife was made with slant bolsters. The masterlambs foot is stamped as described. Thepen blade is stamped with the pattern - 62052.This knife has definitely beencarried, usedandsharpened.

Blades still have snap and fold properly - there is no wobble.

Please see photos.

This is a beautiful knife neverseen on so don’t expect to find many comparisons.

The knife shown is the EXACT knife the winning buyer receives. Please be sure to see the Supersize Photos.

Thissurvivoris being offered at .

This knife is listed to have a value of $1200 in mint state. The knife is definitely not in mint state but I would grade it

50% of mint.

I expect payment withintwo days of winning a offer. I only accept PayPal for payment.

Thanks for your offers, I appreciate it.
