Automatic Table Lighter designed by John Schulze for Chase. Measures 3 1/4\" t. Catalog # 825. Catalog years were 1934-1941. Listed in the Chase Complete Deco Specialties Of The Chase Brass & Copper Co. by Donlad Brian Johnson and Leslie Pina. Can also be found in the Art Deco Chrome book by Jim Linz, and in the Art Deco Chrome The Chase Era by Richard J Kilbride.May need replacement fuse and/or flint. The push button flips up, but there is no spark. Fuse and fluid is all that is needed. Some wear to the paint commensurate with age. No dents, nor dings. Strong flip up action, strong spring.
