This is a show saddle made by OW Jolly of Abilene, Texas. While it is totally useable - it is really more of a collector item. Also included is the matching bridle. The conchos on this saddle were acid etched. Seat is 15\" - tree is rock solid - leather has amazing tooling - hand made high quality - all in fantastic condition for a saddle this old! Obviously was well cared for.
Oscar W Jolly was a saddle and harness maker for over 44 years. Born in 1888, he started saddle making in 1910 and continued to the 1950\'s. Besides for working cowboys, he made saddles for Bobby Estes - a rodeo man and Wild West showman of world wide fame.
