Vintage SINGER 201-2 Sewing Machine Fully Serviced, Industrial Strength, Loaded The 201 is such a fabulous vintage Singer sewing machine and this is an extremely nice one offered here for sale! This model is probably the most desirable of the Singer models and considered the Cadillac of Singer sewing machines and generally renowned as Singer\'s finest! She has the desirable scroll faceplate and round back cover !The serial number on this machine is AF646153 dating it to September 5, 1940. This machine is in lovely condition with only a tiny chip on the hand wheel. The decals are in gorgeous condition!Included with the machine are the following accessories:Ruffler 120598

Assorted Singer sewing machine needlesThe original black surface is still very shiny. I took her to my second generation sewing machine store and repairman to have a full servicing. Everything was checked and adjusted/replaced/repaired when necessary. Including but not limited to, motor brushes, timing, adjusting, oiling, lubricating, new rubber bobbin winder tire, new spool pin, foot pedal cleaned and new foot pedal/operating cords (this machine has a one piece cord operating and foot pedal in one) and new thick felt spool pin pads. Just a beautiful example of a vintage Singer 201! I have one and wouldn\'t trade it for a newer machine, it\'s amazing to me all the time what this model will do, especially on layers of heavy fabric and leather! She sews the finest fabrics to some leathers and all with ease! This machine was made as a household machine and now is considered industrial strength due to it\'s all steel construction. It will out sew and out last any new household machine made today. If you don\'t have one, this is a fabulous one to own! Fully serviced and ready to sew!
