General Description: What is being offered for sale is a vintage 8-day 7-jewel clock/watch signed Sandoz-Vuille/Switzerland. The serial number is 24059. See the photo gallery for details and condition, which is impressive. According to sales on , the clock is for “rearview mirror” and are marked “Detroit, Michigan”. Note that the case has both rings – one for the bezel (with crystal) and one to clamp the clock.

The clock/watch is complete and all original. The movement is not functional due to a broken balance staff and a missing stem.

The diameter of the case is 50 mm.

Casemaker: The case is unsigned but the maker is very likely Sandoz.

Monogram: The case has no monogram or personal inscription.

Case Condition: There are no dings or dents or significant scratches – see photos. The screw-on rings for the front and back are in excellent condition.

Dial/Hands: Very nice and very likely original.

Operational: I don’t know when the watch was last cleaned and lubricated, but as is, it is NOT ticking due to a broken balance staff and a missing stem.

Winding/Setting: The wind and setting mechanisms appear to be complete and functional – but note that the stem is missing.

Guarantee: The clock/watch can be returned for a refund of the offer amount if the seller is notified within 14 days of receipt (as determined by Delivery Confirmation) and the item is in the condition shown in the photos.
