Vintage Sansui 7070 Receiver/Amplifier!

This is a Vintage Sansui 7070 receiver/amplifier. This unit is a partially functioning receiver/amp that requires repair. We tested it and here are the results: Powers on OK, all panel lights come on for FM tuning, signal meters and power output meters and AM/FM display - the only light that is an exception is at each end of the tuning dial( see pics). Audio> there is no output signal present at the speaker connections or headphone jack - we connected a CD player through the AUX input and were able to detect signal throughput at the TAPE REC outs, so the pre-amp section appears to be working. Also, we were able to tune FM signals and detect those at the pre-amp outs. Checked all fuses inside the chassis and they were fine. Our conclusion is that the output transistors are likely bad and are in need of replacement. Otherwise, this is a nice unit that is in good shape cosmetically, wood cabinet is in nice condition and it\'s also very clean on the inside of the chassis. Has all knobs and switches, which appear to be functional. NOTE: We are not professional technicians, so our examination and results are based on years of experience and basic knowledge of stereo equipment and electronics.
