Traveling across the Atlantic aboard the S.S. Liberte, this vintage Steamer Trunk received its share of admiring looks from the other passengers. Sporting amazing European LV-ish styling, it features a sturdy brown exterior with protective hard wood slats, nickel-plated hardware, and fabulous original 1950\'s transatlantic travel labels. Measuring 42 1/2\" long, 24\" wide, and 22\" high, it\'s excellent as a coffee table or for blanket and linen storage.
Circa 1940\'s, this Steamer Trunk is in good condition with minor surface wear from travel. It has a clean interior with a plaid paper lining and no musty smell. The S.S. Liberte was one of the most advanced high speed steam turbine ocean vessels of its day and was prominently featured in the Jane Russell film \"The French Line\".
