This is a vintage Vallona Starr Oval dish, we believe it is for setting a cooked corn cob or as a spoon rest.

Measures 8 1/2 inches by 4 1/8th inch and 3/4 inch tall approximately. From an Estate.

Very nice condition, does have paint residue where it was sat on a painted shelf for many years, we are leaving this in place, there is no crazing and no chips or cracks.

The dish is marked on the underside with Vallona Starr California and the number 42.
