Here is an interesting vintage (late 20th century)Staunton style chess set carved from natural and stained light weight wood. The set is interesting in that the twoopposing colors are carved in slightly different styles. While it is apparent the two sides belongtogether as a set, it is also quite apparent that the two sides wereintentionally done in different styles for this set (see photos). All 32 pieces are felted and in excellentcondition. The kings measures 3\"with a base diameter of 1 inch.
