Description

This is a lovely 1940s or 1950s complete porcelain demitasse serving set for 8 and includes a coffee pot with lid, sugar with lid, creamer, and eight cups and saucers. The bottoms of each are stamped and read: HAND PAINTED CRAFTSMAN CHINA JAPAN 232 ANNIVERSARY (they actually spell it ANIVERSARY, with one \'N\', on the bottom stamping). This company produced very fine china and porcelain patterns.Some dimensions for reference: Coffee/Tea Pot 8-1/2\" tall x 4-1/8\" max diameter. Saucer 4-7/8\" diameter. Cup 2-1/2\" diameter at top x 2-1/8\" high. Total unpacked weight about 5 lbs.The set was only lightly used with no chips, cracks, or repairs and is in excellent condition. The gold encrusted areas are also in very good condition! We show this on a white background in most pics but also on plain wood to show the contrast with the gold, white and also cream body.
