Pair of WAVELENGTHAUDIO 300B parallel single ended tube power amps. Outputting approximately 17.5watts, they are higher output versions of the original \"Cardinal\" (not relatedto the little 2A3 7-watt models also once labeled \"Twin\" or\"Gemini\"). Designed around, and factory biased for matched pairs ofWestern Electric 300B output tubes or matched pairs of WE equivalents. Given a matched pair of 300Bs they shine with speakers in the87-93 db sensitivity range. They certainly did with Quad US monitors, ESL 63s and989s for example.User adjustable for 4, 8, or 16 Ohms speakers.All the premium NOS input, driver, and rectifier tubes are included, but theoutput 300B tubes are not included. Input tubes included with the amplifiers are theGeneral Electric military 6072A. Driver tubes included are the RCA red base military 5692s (manufactured in 1961). Rectifier tubes are British Mullard-madeGZ37s.The amplifiers are in excellent condition except thatthe underside of the bottom metal cover plates have many surface scratchesfrom sharp brass triple point footers. They can be painted or simply flipped over to the pristine side. One fuseholder\'s outer shell wiggles a bit in its place, but functions perfectly. They are quiet except with ears physically up very close to them.No warrantee is expressed or implied.
