Willys 1943 MB Jeep and M100 Trailer:
$13750.00

This is a 1943 Willys MB and early post WWII M100 Trailer. JEEP FRAME SN IS MB209988. The engine is a flat four with Willy\'s data on the top of the block. The trans is a T84. This jeep was restored off the frame roughly ten years ago. It sat in a storage building with 3 other restored jeeps. Earlier this year we started preparing it for a sale. Upon driving it we noticed a rust leak in the radiator so we put a NOS radiator in (all NOS parts are from Kaiser Willys .com). The engine idled rough so we put a rebuilt original fuel pump on (type with the primer handle). The electrical system was converted to a 12 volt for reliability. The jeep has several new parts to include all new tires (spare and trailer tires new too); new battery; all wiring and harness; canvas top for jeep and trailer; and much more. You can see from the engine picture that there is not a horn and the firewall mounted fuel filter is not hooked up (a smaller gas filter inline between the tank and fuel pump is installed). I debated about investing any more into the jeep versus keeping it at the sale price now. Honestly to get this jeep back to 100% all original, it\'s not far off. Last week a military restoration mechanic opened up the Transmission and the Transfer Case. We did this because the shifter locked in third gear. Turned out a spring and \"dog ear\" on the trans needed to be replaced. I don\'t know much about these transmissions but the mechanic told me both the Transmission and Transfer Case looked good. He adjusted the timing; changed the oil and set the idle again. Next week we need to open up the Transfer Case again because a spring that holds the high gear shifter is worn and the shifter tends to pop out while downshifting. We will fix this next week and again inspect the Transfer Case. There are no other leaks from the vehicle except a very small drip (maybe two small drips now and then) from the oil pan. We took the pan apart two weeks ago and retightened. The restoration mechanic told me to expect a small leak even after as they all did this. This is a very nicely restored Willys. I will not leave any detail out if interested and tell you exactly what to expect. It seems to blow a bit of smoke initially when starting and the mechanic though there may be a small exhaust leak but wasn\'t sure and certainly wasn\'t a big deal. There are just enough small items to address to give the next owner a small project list to have fun with. The trailer is not wired. It also doesn\'t have the rear lights. I just had it painted at a local auto paint shop. I bought new tires and had them balanced. I also have a hitch for my 2010 jeep that can be used to pull the military trailer if need be. I paid $75 for this hitch and will throw it in. I just bought the trailer canvas too. I just placed the new decals on and once I decided to sell I left the bumper unit decals for the next owner to place per his preference. The jeep starts easily and runs nice. I can provide a video of me going down the highway my wife took if that helps. I can also take more pictures if requested. For serious buyers, best way to discuss is to call me at 864-367-3493. There will be no return policy with this vehicle simply because I\'m telling you everything I know about it and condition and once it leaves my garage I lose control of whatever happens to it. I think it\'s priced fair and certainly I think it\'s priced below what I\'ve seen out there. I\'m not anxious to sell so please do not call with an offer that is low. FINAL SALE PRICE WILL NOT INCLUDE SOLDIER\'S GEAR AND WEAPONS IN PICTURE.
