Magnificent Vintage EARLY RUSSIAN CARVED PANEL GILDED WOOD ICON OF MOSES (RARE).
Carved and gilded wood panel with oval icon of Moses. Probably 17th century, may be 16th century. Dimensions: H 16" x W 8.75" x D 1" Condition: Some losses to the gilding. Cracks to the wood. Painting with some toned varnish.
PLEASE NOTE … This ICON could be earlier than 16th century as I am not expert.
Amazing details and colors and covered thinly with gold leaf or gold paint.
