We are pleased to offer this exceptional French Art Deco mantel clock byFritz Marti, complete with itsoriginal pendulum and key. Dating to theearly 1900s, this striking timepiece features a finely detailedgilt bronze pheasant sculpturepoised atop atri-colored, highly polished marble base– an elegant, architectural statement for any mantel, console, or library display.

The clock isin working order,keeps time, and runs for approximatelyone week per winding. It features abell strikethatcounts the hourandrings every half hour, adding classic presence and charm.

The movement backplate bears theFritz Marti clockmaker’s mark, reading:
“Médaille d’Or F. Marti Paris 1900”and is further stamped with the numbers116(top) and307(bottom). Theoriginal blue paper labelinside the back door is present and has beentaped back in place.

A rare example of French Art Deco artistry –substantial, authentic, and visually commanding.
