For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved, 1980’s official dealer advertising sign.

This sign was used by the renowned Lancaster group at their Cambridge branch based in England and was used internally for the showroom. It is a great size measuring approximately 9ft in length and is beyond impressive when seen in person.

The sign is single sided and was expertly produced in Germany. It features individual and specially formed protruding letters in the signature colour way with illumination coming from the side of the letters as well as the face. Each letter is mounted to the original aluminium backing panel with a fully concealed backing.

The letters were originally neon lighted but the glass was intentionally damaged when the sign was decommissioned. Each letter is now illuminated by professional grade and waterproof LED modules and works perfectly.

The sign will work in all regions of the world thanks to the modern, low voltage LED lighting. It currently has a U.K. plug attached but an adapter can be provided for European and USA usage to allow for a simple plug and play operation. The best way for it to be displayed is for it to be mounted to the wall.

The sign does show only very minor marks and age but it does present itself very, very well. No cracks and no colour loss to the letters is present.

Being for the well known and much loved German brand of this era, especially one of this style, they are literally impossible to come by.
