WHY THIS ONEThor #1 (2014) is widely catalogued as the first appearance of Jane Foster asThor. She lifts the hammer on the final page with her identity concealed; thereveal comes later in the run. It was a genuine event at the time and it putthe character on screen eight years later.
The Mighty Thor #700 is the Legacy anniversary — 50 pages, a roll-call ofartists, and the first chapter of the ending. #705 is the one where it ends.
