Koshirae: Imperial Japanese Navy Officer's Sword from the Early Showa Period This design is a modern adaptation of the traditional Japanese “tachi” sword, and the naval version is characterized by its particularly elaborate ornamentation.

It features “togidashi same-gawa”—a technique in which multiple layers of shark skin are wrapped around the blade, hardened with lacquer, and then polished to a high gloss. The scabbard is fitted with two rings called “haikan” for hanging.

It takes 25 business days for the certificate to be issued, after which we will start the process of shipping the goods.
