For your consideration isa very rare ROYAL DOULTON Kingsware ‘Hound Dog’ Tobacco Jar w/Sterling Rim, circa1915.

Made in England &designed by leading Doulton designer Charles Noke, this wonderful piece is pictured& documented in the 2006 Antique Trader Book “Royal Doulton Price Guideby Kyle Husfloen”. The top lid is decorated with a handsome sitting hounddog, the lower bowl is decorated with molded running foxes around the sideswith a sterling silver top band. The bottom is properly marked with the RoyalDoulton factory stamp, the silver band is monogrammed hallmarked.

It measures approx.8”tall by 6” at widest.

The piece is in excellentcondition with expected lite age/handling related wear such as minor nicks,crazing and dents/tarnishing to silver.
