This round deep dish style chamberstick has a large ring handle on one side. It also has a porcelain insert in the candle cup - a really nice added feature. The chamberstick is not signed, but it's design is very similar to the work of Christopher Dresser (for Richard Perry and Son tinware). The chamberstick measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter (pan only without the handle). It's accompanied by a clear glass hurricane globe with a decorative molded top edge (from the 20th century). Together they measure 8 3/4 inches high. The chamberstick remains in good condition with surface and paint wear (staining, tarnishing) showing in places - all in-use wear. The sky blue color is still bright and quite amazing ! This 19th c. candleholder would be a wonderful addition to any home - adding warmth and charm and a splash of color !
